What it is is the URL that can be used to add a &#8220;Search Engine&#8221; in Firefox and friends preferences\/settings. Possibly others as well. The GET pair <code>udm=14<\/code> puts you at the &#8220;Web&#8221; results tab&#8230;I guess&#8230;instead of &#8220;All&#8221; which we all know is the devil.
