Statements and flyers, could something be better? OK, enough of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>tr;dr &#8211; We&#8217;re calling 4.25&#8243; x 5.5&#8243; sheets Handbill size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many sizes have names, or nicknames. I&#8217;m not familiar nor do I plan to become so with ones for ANSI or ARCH, and certainly not A or B (I think there is a B&#8230;) if they exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tabloid : 17 x 11<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ledger : 11 x 17<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal : 8.5 x 14<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Letter : 8.5 x 11<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statement (aka half letter) : 5.5 x 8.5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There is one popular size that has been left out: 4.25 x 5.5, which is half statement size and\/or quarter letter size. Being near exclusively used for flyers (quantity wise, but prescriptions are typically this size, as are many note pads) I believe they should take on the moniker of &#8220;handbill.&#8221; A handbill is a flyer and a flyer that is quarter letter size is about the size of an adult hand, so it only makes sense to me.
